I would guess that any amber quart sized milk bottle is worth at least 20.

There are at least 7 variations of the Weckerle amber quart & 2 green quarts - all fairly common. Here is an earlier version that doesn't have "& sons" in the slug plate. They are from Buffalo, NY. I'd say $20 was cheap.

I had already purchased a number of items and had reached my spending cap, Also milk bottles aren't really my thing.

The only way that would ever sell for $20 or $22.50 is because seller had a buy it now price on it. probably lasted 1 minute & first guy that seen it bought it. Happens all the time on ebay. LEON.

You're right. Same bottle sold on feebay about a week later for $3000. Original seller obviously didn't know what they had. Buyer was in the right place at the right time.
