I'm guessing this is Chris but I think you share with you brother, that name escapes me. Anyway, the mail to links don't work so the best I can guess is it's from the description is Syracuse NY and it's a bottle. There are a few states that have a Syracuse but that's my guess.
Hutchbook only shows 2 in NY. I can't find a Syracuse NC on a map. I don't know what else to say.

Murphy brothers brewed Weiss beer and bottled soda from the late 1800's until like 1915. I have a couple of qt sodas and a Weiss beer from them. They aren't particularly scarce.
A pic of this sure would be nice! The Syracuse NY Murphy hutch listed is considerably scarcer than most other of their bottles. I've never dug, seen or heard of a clear Murphy hutch. Murphy Bros Bottling Works (1895-1906) was established by John & Cornelius Murphy at 110 Grand Ave in Syracuse. John died in 1903. In 1909 Cornelius partnered up with John Flanigan & created the Flanigan & Murphy Company at 112 Grand Ave. Then in 1912 Cornelius became sole proprietor & changed the name to Cornelius Murphy Co. His ginger beer bottles at this time were marked 'Con. Murphy' He was apparently in business as such from 1912 to 1916. Al
