Need help with info on a N.Y. bottle

Hello everyone, I recently bought a group of bottles from a guy I dig with in Atchison KS. He found this one in Atchison and I ended up with it. Was wondering if anyone knows anything about this bottle. If its a rare bottle or common. It is a pretty attractive color. It stands 7" tall. Thanks for everyones help! Kenny

Most Pierce bottles are common, but I haven't seen one it that color ! So I would say it is not common. That is beautiful !!!!!! Mitch

Cool find. I have never seen a circular slug R.V. Pierce bottle. The Pierce medicine style bottles are common, but yours seems to be earlier and rarer.

That is an early Pierce and not as common as the later styles. I would guess it's from the 1880s. The color makes it stand out and I have a friend who would pay a pretty penny and a WHOLE BUNCH of them for it just because of the swirly color. That's his specialty in bottles, fruit jars and insulators. I believe you have a winner. Jim

Meany years ago I found two with the same slug plate , but they were aqua not green so yours is a prize !
