I thought this was a more modern michelob bottle but not so sure now!! Any info would be greatly appreciated

Looks like the 1960s to me, since it has both the Owens Illinois logo and small ridges along the base. Everywhere I go I seem to find dozens of modern screwtop Michelobs and Budweisers.

I kind of remember seeing this one. It was a beer and wasn't made for more than a year or two. I believe Hunter has hit it on the head--primetime Hippy-early '70s at the latest. The shape kind of reminds me of a lava light. :)

The "not to be refilled" indicates a new bottle to me.

End of Hippy, beginning of marketing. Wait things were a little fuzzy then, not sure.

I've got one also. Michelob bottle.
They started bottling in 1961.

I've got one also. Michelle bottle.
They started bottling in 1961.
Haven't had a Michelob beer in years, used to drink them because it was more expensive. Now all beers expensive I guess I'll have to see why I used to drink it. Cheers

Maybe that's why I haven't had it.
