Need to know what to call it....

My bro inlaw picked up a bushel basket full of bottles and this one piqued my interest...embossed on the bottom with "CVR"...I think its an "R"...what do you call this style of bottle so I can do some better research..??..Thanks guys....

It's a chianti bottle. No telling how old it is because they stay quite crude, quite late.

So...this one goes in the recycle bin..??....so post 1960 or later...a wine bottle manufactured for Chianti...that would explain the "CVR" embossing on the bottom...I thought it was for a bunson burner..!!..Thanks guys

I wouldn't put it in the recycle bin, it's still a nice looking bottle. Mind you, I sell stuff at a flea market, and I would put it in the flea market stuff, but it seems like it deserves a better fate than the recycling in.
