Picked up this Demi Big Boy at the bottle club meeting this past Friday. He was sitting on the couch today and was nice enough to let me take a picture.

That is a big fella. I may have found a distant relative . . . sorry I didn't add anything for scale . . . the IP base is over 1/2" thick though less than an 1/8" at the edge . . . no other pieces found scratching around a hillside surface dump

Man, that thing is a beauty. Almost looks like a Prussian blue. And no pontil shot? Don't be holding back on us!

How rude! I will add a pontil shot! Its sort of a lighter greenish blue, there is some interior staining that makes it look more blue.

Back To You Skycollect. I have a good number of demijohns. But none like yours. I assume the straight tapered finish was applied and tooled, was there any sloppy glass on the neck under it? I couldn't make out the pontil details much in the piecture, so I went back to the first picture and have to assume it had a dee0 push-up. My biggest demi is at least 9 or 10 gallon - and I can't imagine holding that much glass on a blow pipe. They are a fantastic bottle to collect - but take a lot of space. Congratulations, and thanks.RED Matthews check my homepage belowl
