They tore down a couple of old house near my work so I checked them out after work. As usual, way in the back Yard where they tore out the Garage Concrete Floor I find a Bottle. A Common West Side Brewery Blob top. totally intact without a chip or crack or any damage, & this is after a bulldozer or Backhoe plowed through there busting up Concrete & removing it. The houses in this area seem to be around 1910+ & I usually find Crown Tops in this area but every once in awhile a Blob & Hutch. The next house nothing in back but where crawlspace or foundation or basement hole is, like 30 feet by 30 feet size hole maybe 5 or 6 feet deep I look across the hole & see in wall near top what looks like a small Milk Bottle. I walk around to other side & sure enough pull out a Milk Bottle. One I never seen before. Troy Milk Co? Not listed in my Michigan Milk Book but it is from Detroit. Wonder if rare? LEON.
