Hi all, found this bottle today and found this forum today. Was out bike riding and found a big old mountain of bottles, jars, and other various glass items. Ths was sticking out of the side of the hill so I grabbed it and brought it home. The inscription reads 'Federal law prohibits sale or reuse of this bottle' and the letters within the bottle decoration read "AA". It's a half pint bottle.

Looks like an Ancient Age whiskey bottle.

"Federal Law . . ." was required on whiskey bottles from 1933 till 1964. Dig deeper!

Thanks Harry. Found an Ancient Age website and they are still using the same fonts for their A's. I'm gooing to go back there and dig around. I've known about this place for a long time, time to pack a pair of gloves and some digging tools into the bike bag.
