So, back in November my family and I moved to a new place, and have had an unexpected adventure digging bottles out from around the property. Here is what I have pictured so far, still in the cleaning process on a lot though. Still have so many more to dig out.

I don't see anything overly old or rare, but doesn't mean it's not cool and fun!

You've been bitten by the bug.
It may consume you...

Welcome aboard mwetzel84!

Newtothiss beat me to the punch in noting that you've obviously been bitten by the bug! If you think it is additive now, just wait until you find that first 1930's "corker" and then a "tooled top" (a mouth-blown, hand-finished) bottle from a turn-of-the-century dump.

I was going to say same thing as Newtothiss. Old Milk Bottles & ACL Painted label soda bottles from that time frame can be collectible & have Value. Leon.

I think that would be fun! See if you can determine how old the property/structure is. If it's an 1800's farmhouse there's likely older stuff around. Most of the bottles pictured are relatively new. But if you start finding some older stuff (either by location or digging deeper) that's what I would focus on. Welcome to the site

If house is pre 1900 in a big city or pre 1920 in Country or smaller city, look for the Privy. Thats where all the good older Bottles are Hiding out. LEON.
