Hi all.

I'm brand new here. In fact I am brand new in the world of bottle collecting too!!!

However I do have a collection of lots of old things many of which include glass bottles for which if I'm honest I have very little knowledge of value. Perhaps you guys might like to take a look at my photos here:

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.103661763055536.11275.100002351384569

And let me know what you think. Does anything in particular jump out at you? I will be updating the photos in the coming days to include descriptions of what's written on the bottles too.

If nothing else, please enjoy your visit to my pics.

Cheers

Helena

Welcom Helena...You've got some cool stuff! I love the old kitchen scales, and the wooden crates too...Your bottles all look 1870's to 1900 with a few perhaps a wee bit older? Thanks for sharing..This flask is cool.

Nice selection. That flask really is awesome. I'd put another window in my house just to make sure there was room to put it in a window. What does it say on it? Swiz

Hello Helena,

Welcome to A-BN. I got a message on that Faceless page that something was "unavailable." The bottles that other members have posted that I assume were previously "available," look pretty nice. What is the embossing on the green flask?

Welcome, I get the "This content is currently unavailable". Maybe 'cause I'm not a member?
Anyway, from what's been said it sounds like you got some nice stuff.

Thanks a mill guys for all the replies.

I can't explain why some of you can't get at the facebook album while others can. I'm disappointed. The album is set up so that it is open to everyone whether you have an facebook account or not, or whether you are a friend or not. All are welcome to invite me as a friend of course.

Try the following two links to the two albums to see if this makes any difference. The first one doesn't have any bottles in it that I can remember, but has so much by way of interesting bits and pieces, esp if you're Irish as I am... that you may enjoy browsing anyway. The second will be the bottle album link.

I can't believe I got so many replies so quickly. Do you guys live here? :) Thanks a mill again
