Hi everybody, I am new to this hobby and thought I would come in and introduce myself. I recently found an old dump not far from my house that had a few old cans and bottles that seemed to be pretty much intact so I thought I would start rifling through to see what I could find. I found some things that I thought were cool and will post some pictures later. Once again I am new and will be posting pictures of my finds, most of which will probably be worthless so please be kind. I found a couple Ball jars, an old Kerr jar and quite a few older bottles. The neatest item I came across was this beer can, you can hardly read it but I thought it was neat. I look forward to some more digging and getting to know everybody here. Jeremy

hi , when beginners come on to the forum with stuff they stumble across in hike's and walks ,generally it's things we old timers have seen many times before . my advice to you if you are really interested in getting in to the hobby is to go to your library and look thou some of the books about the hobby , and glass collecting in general . then when you have some idea of what your into ,and think that what you found is special the we can go and talk about it . in the mean time keep looking and have fun !

Hemi Hampton (Leon) would likely know more on the beer can. Can you post a pic of the top? Looks pre-ziptop, which is good.

Pics of Some of my Heidelbergs. It's a common 1950's can but I'd look for more cans because the Pacific Northwest has many rare cans worth $1,000.00 in good shape though. most of them older from the 1930's. Keep looking for more. I buy rare ones & pay top $$. LEON.
