hello this is my first post, just joined a couple days ago. I'm from Ga and I joined to get some knowledge on several bottles. My father in law worked for Chattanooga glass company in Ten until they closed the doors. During his many years there he became a master engraver and made the dated molds for the factory. He also collected several rejects or odd bottles. I only have 1 that is full, have one or 2 that are empty but sealed, 1 with the bird swing, some in foreign language, some never labeled or embossed. he started there in 1960 and continued until the close. Now since I'm the only family member somewhat knowledgeable of computers and not working full-time I'm sitting with him and he has decided he may want to try and sell some of these. I've began my research and gathered lots of info but I have a few that are no where to be found. Possible one of a kind or just not seen? But hopefully by chatting with some people here and continuing my research I will get answers. Thanks for letting me join.

I think I might have that last Bottle you pictured or one similar. The newer Green Hutch or Hutchinson Bottle I never seen before. The last 2 Bottles, Hutch's are obvious newer reproduction. Real Original Hutchs were typically used in the 1880-1910 time Period. Don't know much about the others, I mostly collect pre 1950's Cokes. LEON.

any item that I have was put under the house between 1960 and 1980. so I know they are pre 1980 at the least. I'm not sure if he brought any with him when moving into the house but the house was purchased in 1960. The Chattanooga glass company closed around 1982 I think and my fiance purchased the house. He hasn't messed with them until this week. None of the bottles have been in circulation, they were brought from the factory and stored under the house.

I'm very curious about the green Alabama coke bottle. There are about 10 of the clear ones but only 1 green. Papaw said it was the wrong color glass put on the line that got the wrong sticker. When they pulled interesting bottles off the line he would try to grab them before they were reported. Most of the time they were just kept in the mold room for everyone to check out. But if it got to be too many they would sneak them out. He worked 2nd shift so he said it was easier.
