Nice condition

Found this coke bottle a couple inches down, just enough to keep it out of the sun, I guess ,it has this beautiful green tinge, and the logo and markings are in nice condition. It seems to be from the late 60s early 70s. On the bottom it says Dillon and has a SC . My question about this little beauty is.Would anyone know why it’s green, and would it be a collector because of?

That color is the natural color of glass--clear, colorless glass is achieved by chemical additives--and became sort of a de facto trademark of coke, though not one strictly adhered to as clear bottles were also used in various eras of Coke production. Right on , I’m finding the smaller coke bottles too but no green ones, thanks for the info

Coke bottle glass is the way we always described the color. Probably not that old. Could be worth poking around to see what else is there
