I have been looking for bottles for many years and never found a Real marble. I found little ones but not big like the three i found yesterday. I don't know anything about marbles. I like the middle one it has a lot of bubbles and the outer ones look like a different color glass. If you have any information about these please do tell. If you have any i would love to see them...thanks.

Those are referred to as catseye marbles, machine made probably in the last 70 years or so. A couple US companies made that style of marble but the vast majority were foreign.

Sometimes they end up in odd places because some people use marbles for slingshot ammo.

I bought the oldest store in my community (built in 1904 by the Tremont Lumber Company) of Eros, La. It was 80' long and I tore down 50' of it to use the material to rebuild the other 30'. I found these in the soil that was once under the tear down section.

I have a mason jar full of old marbles! I always say its going to be a good day when I find marbles, it's like a good luck token.

Neat marbles mayor. True recycling on the house. I work in construction last 35 years. I love the old houses(historical landmark). Only problem is you do the job the way they did 200 years ago. Means no electric. I had to nip all my quarry tiles i cut. No hand tile score and pop. No around then. Still very cool.
