Nice finds on a cold day. The stoneware bottle looks like the kind made by the Merrill Pottery of Akron, Ohio. If the base has a circle in the center surrounded by a swirl pattern, that't it. I'm still working on a better dating for them, the internet only goes so deep. I am going to Akron in a few days and hope to be able to do some more local research. It has been fun watching these digs. Maybe be one or two more before it snows. Scott

Nice work men. The stoneware beer is sharp. Clean that old mug up and give it a test drive.

...Along with the stoneware I picked a old blob with a M on the base, Does any one seen a M like that on the base. Is that a bottle makers mark or a old brewery name like one of the Marx beers we dug up before...

I've got an amber beer with that same marking, but different top. I'll try to take a couple of pictures tomorrow.
