Hi Folks, This one was brought up by a diver somewhere around Key West. It was covered in coral and you can see residual bits of it still stuck to the glass. I'm guessing it's from a wreck given the sheer number of them in the vicinity of that area. No distinguishing marks to speak off, green glass and a pontil mark on the base. Any ideas?

Hi, welcome. That's an interesting bell form. I can't say I know much about it though. Can you post the lip too?I'd guess a wine from somewhere in Europe (Spain or Portugal maybe), 1800-30 but it's really out of my realm..

I was thinking wine and probably Spain (given the history in the area). Thanks for the comments. I'll get a pic of the lip and post later.

Cool bottle. Any thoughts from members about cleaning or leaving coral/growths on bottles and value?

Yep..I like the coral on it...makes it more interesting knowing it came from the ocean and with the coral on it there is no doubt of it coming from there...JAMIE
