Old Homestead Dig

Got out today for a little adventure, I found a bunch of old cellar holes within a couple of miles of one another over the winter months , so this is the first chance for me to go trake a look and to do a little photography. I picked this cellar hole because it is the most secluded and almost right away started to find signs of old glass! This cellar is hard to spot even this time of year before the leaves come out.

Not far away I started to find what I was looking for, the old dump!

They dumped all around this huge rock,

Bottles, I did manage to find a few , mostly surface finds or with just a couple of scraps with the rake. First to show it's base was what I thought was a Minards Linament and was about to chuck it but at the last second noticed that it was a '' Empire Linament"" and thought that it deserved at least a photo as I never seen one.

After a couple of sun colored meds and a local druggist a nice colored hair bottle rolled out of the dirt, a '' C. Damschinsky/ Liquid Hair Dye/ New York
