Old Pennsylvania Railroad find

A year or two ago, I was helping someone clean out their garage and noticed this insulator. I fell in love with it instantly. The fellow gave it to me, saying that he found it along old Pennsylvania Railroad lines near Harrisburg. It's not common, but not rare either but it sure is old! The waves and rippling in the glass is very cool, and my camera cannot capture the beautiful color quite like it is in hand. All in all, it's a very cool piece of railroad history.

Yup, CD 151. H. G. is Hemingray Glass Company and the patent date is for the drip points on the base. This is very likely among the first insulators with drip points, and usually these have the distinction of having drips on both the inner and outer skirts.
