old satellite images

Someone posted a link to a site where you could view old satellite images . I found this very useful but my computer recently crashed(few months ago) and I lost the link. It would be appreciated if the link could be reposted. Great tool for finding spots to dig.Thank YouSteve

I remember something about GPR satellite pic's but not old pic's.

I was actually able to go back to the 60's and get images of areas around RIgonna search my archives and see if I can find it again

making progress google earth will let me get back to 1990, but its not the site I used before still searching

I did a quick search of 'aerial photos' for Illinois and found images from 1940. How late are you looking for and which state?

its close but I don't think it was just RI...easy to use also and I guess I am miss-speaking by saying satellite images the older ones were aerial shots put together

found it heres the link...http://www.historicaerials.com/aerials.php?op=homeaerials go back to 1955 in some areas, and topos even earlier , heres a screenshot of cranston RI in 1970

great for looking for potential old dump sites or forgotten roads overgrown ect
