I have a bitters bottle here from the town I was born in. I don't really know much about it, and would love to learn as much as possible. Looks 1880's, but I'm not sure. Looks deep amber, but I'm not sure. Don't know the value, or if any have ever sold online or at auction. I would really like to know the glasshouse, and a little more about Dr. Whitney and the ingredients. Any help, large or small, greatly appreciated.Ron (7 1/4" tall) DR WHITNEYS / BITTERSOLEAN.N.Y. / U.S.A [attachment=jkghkig.JPG][attachment=iop.JPG]

Nice bottle! Listed at $300-400 in Warmans, but I'm not sure how accurate their guide is. An expert on bitters would know more.
