Was ABOVE ground 10 feet for a change! Crawled up into an old attic where I found a bunch of toc stuff that looked like the insulation workers must have collected MANY years ago and put into whatever they found before laying the insulation. Either that or it was already stashed in place and had nothing to do with the above. Anyway, to the point, I found one bottle that has me stumped and smiling. It is a tooled top, very light aqua with only 2 air vents I could find. Looks older than toc as it has dips and whittle in the glass. All are flat panels and side embossed only. One side reads "SUCCESS" and the opposite reads "ESS-TEE-DEE". Reason for my smiling, if they only knew what STD stands for today. Though I did drag home a label only amber med that reads "Gland Tablets Male", so who knows? All I know is nothing! I find no listing for success or the other embossing. Any help or ideas welcome. It's got me stumped for sure. Jack

Never saw one like that. I know some people collect the STD treatment bottles so maybe someone will shed some light on it.

Ess-Tee-Dee was a dandruff medicine and stands for S.T. Dustin of Chicago, Illinois. Cool bottle!

This kind of stuff really brightens my day, especially since it's dreary out today. Neat story from Jack, as always, and wonderful illumination (intellectual) from Brandon, as usual. Where did you find the reference to Dustin Brandon? I don't find it in either Don Fadley or Matt Knapp's books. I didn't search online. Jim

Well, thanks! It makes sense, as I found a labeled "3 Roses" hair tonic from Chicago up in the attic as well. Any time frame for when they were in business? Thanks again. Jack

It actually stands for "Stops The Dandruff". This is from 1918 so 1900-18 anyway.[attachment=Clipboard04.jpg]
