made another crush find the other day , its an orange crush aluminum 280 ml can from the late 80's , believe it dates from around 1988 > 90 so wasn't used for that long before design changed to another can . found in a small dumping from that era but only crush can despite the fact dump filled with other cans from that era , somehow they used only 1 crush can at the time

haven't found this era of crush can intact before which seems odd as it wasn't used that long ago , found a crush grape can from same era a couple years ago in a nearby park but it was too damaged to save .

I like the design for some reason , the colour / logo has a neat look to it , don't even have pictures of the other cans but would assume there is also - cream soda , grape , lime , pineapple . online it also says this design used in the US in 88 but there can was 355 ml so larger version

Nice......not to derail your thread, but I came across a Crush bottle I haven't seen before and was wonding if you have ever owned or even seen one like it before, looks to be dated 1969 and is a NDNR bottle, after doing a pretty thorough search nothing like it came up.

not sure never seen it used in Canada , but does resemble the shape of a crush bottle . the 1969 dates makes sense as that's when most no deposits were used

Since your wondering what other flavours came in this design, here's pics of the the sales team marketing campaign circular that I picked up along the way.

I really like the graphic design of those 80s and early 90s cans. Much better than the photorealistic designs that followed in the late 90s and 00s.

Always liked this design--was pretty bold compared to others of the era.

it does seem to be a unique design/colour scheme , at least can't recall many others like it from that era or now

interesting that it was such a well planned out campaign and though out design . wonder why they dropped this design so soon afterwords ?

but it is common for brands to change the look of there cans every couple of years or they though new 90's look was better

I opened this from the bottom when I was a youngster, late 1970's I believe. Can anybody tell the date from the barcode?
