Alright, hoping I could get a date on this one. This is a brown, seemingly medicinal bottle (nitroglycerin maybe?) with "P. D & CO." blown into the bottom, with the number "365" below it. It is about 2.75 inches tall, about an inch wide, and a little over half an inch deep. It has a couple seams, one of which stops before the bottleneck and the other side goes 2-3mm up the bottleneck before also stopping without reaching the top ( they're not symmetrical)

So I think...maybe this is pre-1900? If this is in the wrong one of the two, then my bad. Not sure the exact date. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'd say that one dates to right around 1900, give or take a decade or so. Could've held any sort of medicine really, P.D. & Co. refers to Parke Davis, one of the largest drug companies at that time.

I agree with CB, that's 1900-1910's at latest. After the 1910's it became much more economical for companies to use machine-made bottles of which yours is not - it is hand finished, someone actually had to manually make these with a mold and metal lip tool. It was made most certainly for a type of drug. Amber color prevents light and UV rays from degrading the potency of the material inside - a must for many drug bottles.

I've even started a small side shelf for the various Parke Davis Co. Or P.D.Co. bottles I dig...

Since I dig in Detroit alot I dig alot of Park Davis Bottles, They are always slicks when I dig them with the PD &Co embossed on Bottoms. Being Slicks I always throw them back unless they are the cool looking Teal Colored ones. Here's a pic of some of mine with Labels. LEON.

Must’ve been a big company. I often dig them here in Brisbane
