Ah, I can help with this,,

Albert Baker was a doctor in Cincinnati in the time period of 1840-50. he teamed up with Amon Scovill and gave him sole agency of all of his products. Your bottle, the pain panacea was a huge seller. Scovill gave Baker an interest in his company as junior partner. However Baker got sick and retired in about a season or so. Bakers son took his father's place on the Scovill business, and stayed on as manager into the early 1870's. It turns out that I dug a delicious Scovill bottle in the gold rush country of California. It was the only smoothbase bottle to come out of the hole. Everything else was tube pontil. The bottle is not quite 10 inches tall, deep green, and full of champagne bubbles. And so I looked up what I could on Mr Scovill. The younger Baker was running the business in later years. Since this ties into your post, tho smoothbase, here it is.
