Hi all,

Am new to this and came across this website when researching about the two bottles I have here for sale. I'm Welsh, born here in Cardiff Wales however family are of Irish heritage. We have recently had a big clear out and came across these in the garage. Due to moving to a new modern house I am looking to sell them. Here's a bit more info about the bottles:

1) Paterson's Glasgow 'Ess. Camp Coffee & Chicory'
I believe it says 1891 on base of the bottle. Please see pictures.

2) Newsom & Sons Ltd Cork 'Essence Coffee & Chicory'
I believe it says 1840 on base of the bottle although it looks a bit more like '6840'. Again please see pictures.

Any information at all would be most welcome as well as any interest in potentially purchasing either of the bottles.

Look forward to hearing what you experts have to say!

Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Declan

Welcome to the forum! These were an early type of instant coffee that date to the early 20th century. Bad news unfortunately is that they're very common, and won't be worth very much.
