Just got an email that appeared to be from Paypal. Said I had added a new email address to my account. That to verify I needed to log in at the link provided and give password, new addy,etc...

Sent it to spoof@paypal.com and they confirmed it was a fake.

Neither Ebay or Paypal will ask for your password and other personal info in an email...remember that and you'll be safer.[:)]

Heaps of that sort of thing out there, I suppose of millions of spam email's they send there will be a few newbies who respond each time making it worth the while of the scammers to send another batch [] .

IRISH...so true.

Got a new veryyyy PayPal appearing email today that said I had bought & paid for a Rolex watch....to dispute the charges I was to click on the link provided...and evidently enter my password,etc...
I didn't bite...sent it to PayPal and they verified it was also a "phishing" (ie:fake) email...and they were going to track down the source.
