I stand corrected.
The good looking pics on the post do swirl to the right or clockwise.
My bottle swirls to the left or counter clockwise.
Thanks

Here is the pic of Robert's pepsi, as you can see the swirls go to the left...

Hi Jim, Thanks for posting the pic! I wanted to see this bottle. I am sure Bob, or Dennis can elaborate further about the reverse swirl. I am interested in buying this bottle if it is for sale due to I do not have one with a reverse swirl. Please PM me if interested in selling this bottle. Thanks, Kevin.....

I might... MIGHT... have seen one like that before. I can't remember where, a local antique shop or online. [8|] Wish I could help!

I found this about a week ago and have been trying to make sense of it ever since. (Pun intended). In fact, I'm not even sure its actually a Pepsi Cola bottle and am just taking the seller's word for it at this point. The seller's description doesn't tell us very much about it, and the picture is such that it can't be read, but if there were some way to enlarge it so it can be studied, it might tell us a thing or two about the "swirl" design on a 1963 Armstrong Cork Company (Kerr Glass), Pepsi Cola bottle. What intrigues me most about it, and the reason I am posting it, is because it shows what appears to be the "swirl" going in optional directions. I say "optional" instead of "opposite" because if it is in fact an original 1963 Pepsi Cola blueprint, then we know the pattern was not criss-cross as the blueprint shows, but should be of the swirl going in one direction or the other and not both directions.

It would be very much appreciated if someone could enlarge or edit the picture so we can read what it says and possibly make sense of all the lines and directions.

Here's the Craigslist link where I found it ...

P.S. ~

Two reminders ...

1. The Pepsi Cola swirl bottle was introduced around 1962

2. The swirl design does not go all the way to the bottom of the bottle but sort of fades out
