First auction of the year... small town in Illinois... not much interest in the
bottles... bought 2 full fountain syrups for $5... then there was a box with another full one, 2 single-dot empties, syrup line drinking glass, the syrup bottle stopper
and the O-SO bottle plus some other odds and ends - $1!!!!!!
$6 for 6 near mint bottles plus the little stuff....
Hope the rest of the year is as good... Happy Hunting folks!

The 3 full fountains are 1943 and are bottled from Taylorsville IL, the empties are 1953 and '55 - one Taylorsville the other Jacksonville the O-So is a 1953 from Springfield, IL... lots of Hires and Dr Pepper but those had seen years of sunlight and weather and not worth sticking around for... this place was an old fountain/restaurant lots of cool things. Malted milk canasters, candy jars and some old Sundae glasses..... good day.

Nice finds Eric! The fountain syrups are kind of tough to find.

The other item with cork around it in front of the bottles, it looks like what would have gone on top of the syrup bottle to dispense the syrup. Does it fit inside one of the opened bottles? Very cool. Congrats on your finds. Paul

I'd say you did well considering Fountain Syrups usually go for around $40 at the lowest on Ebay. Seen some go up to $100. That measuring glass and the syrup stopper would probably bring a pretty penny too.
