I dug up this half pint bottle in an old dump near Akron N.Y, and I am 90% sure it was used for milk in the making of ice cream at the nearby Perry's Ice Cream plant. Any idea on the age/value of it?

Can you show me the lip. It appears it has downward projections from the lip which makes it more modern... 50ish

These things usually have a date code, I'd guess 1959 unless there's another date code on the heel. Seems a bit late for slug plates though so not sure about that, pretty sure they weren't using slug plates anymore up here at that time but I don't know about your area.

You are right about it being from 1959, and yes I have found others with slug plates from this time in my area.

I have slugplate bottles from the 40s. Now a 1959 slugplate? Any chance they just incorporated the slugplate look into the mold, I mean just to give it an older look without being an actual slugplate?
