Philadelphia or Baltimore???

Now you get a feel for my photo skills. It's like taking a picture of an ugly chick, no matter how expensive the camera . . .

Its a hard call on where that one was made. The tapered top looks more like some of the tops seen on Baltimore torpedo sodas but not exactly. I can't really tell the color perhaps a window picture in natural light? I'm surprised this one has an open pontil most sodas of this shape are iron pontiled. It doesn't really match up to anything exactly that I have.

It looks like you are using the general setting, your digital camera should a setting for a close up. Use that setting and get close to the bottle. Also use natural light and play around with the flash settings. The flash may change the bottles color appearance, but it can allow you to get the details more in focus (such as the pontil). Natural light and no flash is good for capturing the bottles true color.

Chris - Thanx for the info, sorry for the poor photo. The lip is what made me think Balto, the body seems to resemble Philly.

Div - Thanx for the tips . . . I have found the flash misrepresents the color. It was cloudy that day but that doesn't account for the blur.
