I dug this up early this morning an I got to say this is the prettiest marble I've ever dug up! You can see just a tiny little hole on one side. Anyone know anything about these?

Looks like an Akro Agate corkscrew, probably 1930's. These were machine made in the USA around that time

I dig up alot of marbles when I'm looking for bottles infact I got 3 today an one shooter like I said its a good looking marble.

It is a nice looking marble, and if yours is yellow and orange, that makes it a bit more desirable. The more common Akro corkscrews are a single color on a white base.

At one point there was a marble sub-section on this forum, I'll see if I can find the link if you want to post your other finds. Cheers

That's a good marble! Called a Prize Name corkscrew by Akro Agate late 1920's to late 30's- I could tell more from clear close up pics.
