Pontiled embossed shard......

Found this tiny embossed pontil shard the other day. Measures 3/4" square, has an "E" on one side and an "INT"? on the other remaining side. I am assuming the last letter is a T as only the left arm got embossed. Seems this was fairly common on early pontiled embossings. Thought it might have been a misspelled liniment? Any thoughts or guesses appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jack

Hi all, The pontil looks like the bottle would have been shaky - setting on it upright. I have a shard of the bottom of a 12 sided med that was complete until I set it down and it tipped over and broke. The pontil looks old alright. RED Matthews
