I'm gonna go grab mine and get some pics later, but the one I found was fairly smooth on the edge, but kinda tapered, as would probably happen Rolling in a circle!

And I'm no expert, mine could be a sharpening stone, just all my research showed sharpening stones weren't more than an inch or 2 inches wide/thick??
