I am beginning to think that this dump me and another fellow digger had found was partly a pharmacy dump from the 1920s and 30s. We have found a pile of homeopathic vials (I'll have to take a pic of it when I go back), as well as broken advertising jars. Here are my finds!!!:
From left to right:
Back:
Wyeth with dose glass top, New London Christmas Coke, Pierre Carters Medicine, Washington Beverages Norwich, CT., Clover Spring Newville, PA., and a LaFrance Beverages Central Village, Conn.
Middle:
Green BIM cork top, Cobalt screw top poison bottle, Davies Rose & Co. Boston, Mass., The Rexall Store, snuff jar, McCormick & Co. Shaker, Tongaline bottle, and a BIM ground neck cork top.
Front:
Toy Bakery Truck, Cut glass shaker with glass screw lid, Horse Shoe dish, Decorative Plate made in Japan with marbles, Porcelain Goat made in Japan, and two cruets.
Part of a Drink Smash soda fountain dispenser!:
The base of the Washington bottling works matches my Julep bottle I had found earlier, so I know that the Julep is from this bottling company and from Norwich!:
New London Christmas Coke (Listed as rare in the book!):
My buddies signs he dug (hope I'll find one next time!):
I'd say that all these finds are signifying that this dump is a pharmacy dump. Can't wait to go back.
Thanks for reading,
