I was given a lead by a guy who retired from digging who said he dug barely any of a small mill town dump dating between 1920s-1940s and possibly older. He said that I was free to have at the rest! I dug for a couple hours last week from his small hole he started and found some stuff that makes me believe there will be some killer things here. I also dug some broken shards of a keystone mason patent midget jar, a BIM hoods sarsaparilla, various whittled strapsides and crockery that makes me think there is certain to be an old pocket. The houses nearby all were built to late 1700s and mid 1800s so there should be some old stuff somewhere!!!

I was thinking a Spooner glass EAPG? On second thought it looks like a vase. Great finds. At least 100 years!

Should definitely be some old stuff somewhere! Like I said, I already was finding old stuff at the bottom of the dump. The dump isn't too terribly deep maybe 4 ft at the most. They definitely burned too, a good amount of ash and some melted stuff, which definitely means this is the village dump. My spring should definitely be pretty fun!!!
