I would think it a doll eye, the hollow tube at the end allowed one of the double wires coming off of the lead weight to enter and move the eye in dolls with open and shut eyes. some of the bisque doll heads were about the size of a childs' head.

I'm always "keeping an eye out" while digging to "see" if "eye" manage to "spy" any doll parts, esp. "eyes". HA! Definitely an eye for a larger doll. "Poor dolly, got so sick she barfed her little eyeball out!" That's what her brother said when asked by his sister "What happened to my dolly's eye?" Jack

I'm pretty sure the stick at the end was only for doll's eyes. Seems like that would hurt like crazy having that thing moving around in the back of your eye socket. Too bad, a human glass eye would probably be a pretty good find, weird stuff like that is always really popular.

My buddy Tom digging with me did find a Dolls leg but it seemed to small to be for this bigger eye? Maybe a small doll with big head? I'd also guess a Dolls eye. Anyways, Here's a pic of me in the hole with our 2 big finds. LEON.

Love the quart blob and med. Agree that the eyeball is creepy even if it is a doll's. Buster

Yes it is a doll's eyball. I have dug several different sizes of them.
