I got this bottle at a show over the weekend, and i was wondering what you guys think the age is. Im thinking early 1880s, but i guess i could be wrong. This shape has always just looked 1880s to me. Embossed: JOHN WEISSENBERGER / MILWAUKEE / WIS

Not knowing what years he was in business, I'd guess 1880s too.

I'm perceiving it dates from the late 1870's-early 1900's by judging just from that one picture. It's unlisted on Sodasandbeers.com, and because it's a designated mold and not a slug plate, it could be a rare one.

Do you still have this?? John was my Great Great Grandfather. I am just now discovering his bottles are online. Don’t know why I never thought to look. We have quite a few but I try to buy them when I can. Let me know! Thank you!!!
