It mentions that a person named Brian grew up with antiques growing out of his ears or something like that. If he did know his antiques, he wouldn't be selling this fake bottle.
It really a bad one at that.
I feel sorry for the bidders on this auction.

Yep That's an RE with a capital PRO it looks like he made it him self, I think I will warn the bidders, I have done it before, shut that FAKE down! I hate Fakes! Rick

I swear this came up once before.
I just did a search and there was a Dr. J Fogworth that sold sarsapilla at the 135 anniversary at Gettysburg. It didn't describe the bottle though. The article said to buy stock as it was flying off the self. Also a Fogworth rootbeer.

This guy states 1930's and 40's in the list, I don't think that qualifies as a true "fake out" but it's close. I think he really doesn't know about pontils and bottle dating. Kind of like the just off the mark pontil thing on the Hostetters recently but not.

Well, mabey someone should tell him, I did that to and the seller took the bottle off, with a kind word of thanks for letting him know, every one wont be as nice IM sure hahah. Rick
