Location
Belleville ILL (St. Louis Area)
Shinn and Sellers in Pittsburg were listed as selling it in the June 15 and Aug 6, 1836 Daily Pittsburg Gazette.

Also, I see in the Nashville Union and American (July & August 1853) an ad indicating that there are 100 boxes of Montague’s Balm for the Teeth left (with a number of other items) in a warehouse that will be auctioned if not claimed. They had been there between 1 and 10 years.

Thanks for the info! Just might be the earliest bottle I have dug so far! I am guessing they were "old stock" by 1853....and I would have claimed them! Jack
