Real or Repro ?

I'm not much on advertising items .
But , this looks to be authentic to me in some ways and not in others. Like the paint almost looks to perfect (new ).
Any thoughts on whether it is authentic or a repro ?

It looks a little odd but I cant really tell you one way or the other.
That kind of stuff scares me unless I know where it came from.

Everything looks right but the layout and the execution of the lettering itself. Back then, any sign man doing glue chipping was also good with a brush, but the lettering just ain't right on this sign. Maybe lettering wasn't this guy's thing. Tough call.

Interesting observation on the lettering. Maybe it adds charm, though. []
I agree with Lobey, too... but I have no clue... at the price it's at right now, I would by it period... wonder what his reserve is.

The lettering has me wondering also.

The original Hostetter's sign in the previous post is the only known example according to Jeff W. at American Bottles.
So , Richard Siri had several reproduced to share . Here's a pic of one of them .
