Been out and about in recent weeks, adding to my growing bottle collection. These finds have been in different antique shops, auctions and large outdoor market in Aberfoyle, Ontario
Couple of nice 10oz Fanta bottles
26oz Sussex bottle from Saint John, NB
Brown 1gallon Orange Crush Syrup Jug,
A few common Crush bottles that weren’t in my collection
9oz NeHi beverages with patd date mar 3, 25
Art Deco style 6oz Dorans from Sudbury, ON
My second Quinte Quality Beverage from my town of Belleville
Last but not least, which is my most interesting I think is 8oz Grilli Bro’s bottling works from Detroit, Mich
This bottle has the ingredients embossed on it, which I have never seen
Hope you all enjoyed My finds. Cheers

i haven't been to that large market in aberfoyle for a couple years , though about going this fall but its a long drive and with covid not really sure what else there'd be to see or do in that area .

there tends to be more art deco's from the US from that time period than Canada , also some which look a lot different and fancier than ones from Canada

We actually only just stumbled onto it. We took our daughter to the airport on the Saturday and drove to Woodstock, where there is a very large antique mall. We stopped at Aberfoyle on the way back on the Sunday, not knowing it was their fall two day event. Was busy, but not to bad, lots of space to move about, everybody was wearing a mask. 160 vendors from what I was told, and the Saturday was very busy compared to the Sunday, but a great experience nonetheless, will definitely go again next year.

Here are a few I added to the collection this week:
QUAKER PURE BEER

FORTUNE BROS. BREW. CO.

JOHN ORTH BREWING CO.

Interesting tidbit about this last beer is that I had one documented, but did not have an example myself. When I got it I noticed a beauty mark on the neck and it turns out this is the exact bottle I had documented. I am always amazed at how these travel around the country.

Wow, Those are nice. I especially like the quaker beer. The embossing is very sharp. Thanks for sharing

I've never been to there Saturday 2 day event , think they only do that twice a year , also never been to the antique mall in Woodstock , have wanted to go but never get down that far south

the aberfoyle market is open until the end of October , so is still a couple weekends left

Just came in the mail this week. What Michael Rosman describes as Canadian Wards Orange Crush Bottles.
There not in the best of shape, but nice to add to the collection. I received two out of province and the other from Ontario.
Two of the bottles have just a 1 embossed on the bottom and the other has a 10. The one with the 10 is slightly taller than the other two. So my question is what does that number mean? Is it a plant number, mold number, possibly referring to a date? These bottles are very hard to research, so any help would be great!!! Enjoy
