This is why I brought this subject up, you cannot always tell what is real by the pics, so you have to rely on your sellers veracity, which is probably the best thing to do anyway..........

I ordered one just so I can one, and to compare to my original. the bottom will be engraved with 2013 REPO. I don't think the intent or mission of the gentleman is to "defraud" collectors, he provides repo bottles to Civil War reenactors who don't care a lick about them and want to use them as props. Hopefuuly, in the near future we will have a comparison between the two. Unfortunately, the Drakes are sold out. A common 4 log Drakes in a common color as well.

Saw that, only issue is they compared a 5 log drakes to a 4 log which is like comparing an Orange with a grapefruit, same family but more different that alike.

Somebody bought an old Sachems on fleebay and paid near two thousand dollars for a repro, the article is in the new issue of ABGC magazine..........
