Thanks to Irene back in August I have been finding stuff along the river bank with out having to do much digging. Guess Mother Nature has the antique glass bug too. [:D]

Mason Jar...screw top but lip looks ground...stain inside won't come off its not rust, I think it may be what ever was left in the jar when it was dumped

Maybe the oldest find. Looks 3 piece mold, no embossing other than the crown, deep olive in color. Any ideas on origin or age of this guy? Wish I had the neck I could have at least fixed it.

Use a tablespoon of salt and a couple of ice qubes on that stain and it may come out. Like cleaning a coffee pot. Put the stuff in put on a lid and swirl it all around. Will not hurt the glass.
