Rochester NY - novice and looking for buddies

I'm a beachcomber and looking to try my hand at bottle finding! I don't know the first thing about it or where to look so I would love to partner with someone local who would like to share some of their knowledge. For safety, I'd prefer a group or female buddy. Let me know if you have advice or are interested in showing me the ropes.

Oh I wish I knew what I was doing and how to find bottles! I’ve been wanting to dig too with an experienced digger! I’d love to go too but like you, I don’t know what the heck I’m doing either darn it
