Hello, all;
I've been digging on a brushy slope behind a house for a couple of days now and I've found several newer bottles and a nice old Nehi bottle. [] My problem is the bank is covered with brush, (some of which I have removed) and the ground is a rat's nest of small roots. Every time I probe, I hit a root or a rock, and when I try to use my potato rake to remove the dirt, I hit a bunch of roots. []
I think there is a treasure trove of old bottles there, but the roots and rocks are keeping me from it.
Does anyone know what I can do?
Any info is desperately needed and will be greatly appreciated!
Thank You and have a nice day,
