round bottom bottle

Hi everybody,

Found today on a beach. Light green, stands ~10.5" tall, 4.5" at the thickest place. No markings. The seams on the top and on the bottle do not match. Blows bottle with quite a few bubbles. Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.

I would say it is a wine bottle, not super old, could be quite recent. Similar wine bottles are sold with a nice woven wicker base or basket that holds it. Something in the back of my mind says Italy. Take a look in your local liquor store, you may find something very similar.

I found this in a 1890 even square wood lined privy, at the bottom, so it could be old, mine is loaded with bubbles and is BIM.if it was on a beach mabey it came from some shore line dump somewhere,yes it is wine the basket rotted away over the years.

and pretty brave of you to get down in that hole!!!!
Looks like the stash of bottles was worth it, though!!
Did you open a bottle shop with all those bottles or are you still cleaning them!!!

I don't think mine is that old as the place where I found it is full of 40-50-60 stuff. But I like the color anyway!
