The find of the day!!! embossed ''F.O.DEWEY&SONS PAT'D JULY 18 ,1871 don't know about the glass globe but was in the same hole,but found later!

Nice Digs! The Mason's with the monogram is a little better than the common Pat 1858's. The ground top "what is it" is a salt or powder shaker. It would have had a metal cap with holes in it. The lamp base and shade are Awesome! You hardly ever get a whole globe and when you do it's usually just a common clear glass. That one would be the center piece of most diggers lamp collection! Out of em all, I'll bet that bitters is a good one! Never heard of it and it's clear to boot! What's the embossing on the other panels say?
