I have recently discovered my Fleming and bottle digging. I remembered a spot from my childhood where we would find bottles, and when I went there on a whim sure enough, there was glass, pottery, ash, and metal galore! I found this interesting bottle top? I assumed it was attached to something and it was the opening. Please help me identify it!

The font would suggest older but haven't seen anything like it before. Any Pharmaceutical or Chemical companies in the area you found it?

Almost looks like the base of a vase (vs. the top) but I really have no idea

That is a British registration mark. You can determine a lot from that, so look those up-there are keys for them online.
