This George Ballantine & sons bottle is clearly from sometime between 1935-1964, and there’s plenty of info on the company and whiskey. I’m curious about the making of this bottle as it shows some signs that usually I would take to mean it is a bit older, the seams stop just above the shoulder, the lip is wonky, and there are air bubbles present. My question is if Scotland, and perhaps other countries used older bottle making methods later than the USA did?
