Hi all, regarding cellar holes: Here in Maine I find it easier to find the old well sites than the privys at most of the cellar sites. I have one up the road that really perplexes me, so far I've found three wells, but not a scrap of glass or even cut nails in the hole! I and a digging buddy scoured the area with a detector and zip!! Unfortunately, the sanborn maps didn't cover the area, so it's 'hide and seek' I guess[8D]
